Whenever a space is marked off on any street for the parking
of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked
wholly within the lines bounding that space.

it to remain parked, in any such zone, except as specifically provided

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a
vehicle (other than a pedal cycle) on the roadway side of any vehicle
stopped or parked at the edge or curb of any street, except that standing
or parking for the purpose of loading or unloading persons or property
shall be permitted, Monday through Saturday, between the hours of
9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:00
p.m. and for no longer than necessary for the loading or unloading.

The Police Chief shall have discretion to allow temporary parking
at any location for a period of time determined by the Police Chief
to be appropriate under the circumstances.

In addition to the parking regulations set forth in this chapter,
the following are specifically prohibited:
1. Parking within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
2. Parking within 30 feet of the approach to a flashing signal, stop
sign, yield sign or traffic-control signal located at the site of
a roadway.
3. Parking upon any bridge or upon that portion of a roadway improved,
designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel, exclusive of the
sidewalk, berm or shoulder.

4. Parking on the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the
edge or curb of a street.
5. Parking on any railroad tracks.
6. Parking within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
7. Parking within an intersection.
9. Parking in front of a public or private driveway.
10. Parking in a fire zone or fire lane.
11. Parking within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station
or, when properly sign posted, on the side of a street opposite the
entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of the entrance.
12. Parking too far (i.e., more than 12 inches) from the tire sidewall
to the curb.

13. Parking in any place where official signs prohibit or restrict parking.
14. Parking at any place where official signs prohibit stopping or standing.
15. Parking within 20 feet of an intersection measured from the intersecting
curbline or the intersecting cartway/roadway line.

1. Enforcement. Enforcement of parking regulations shall be the responsibility
of the police officers of the Township Police Department. The Township
Fire Marshal also shall be empowered to enforce all parking regulations
dealing with duly established fire zones and fire lanes.
2. Violation Notice. Each parking violation notice or ticket shall be
issued on a form established by the Township and shall indicate, at
a minimum, the following information:
A. The date and time of the violation;
B. The ordinance section violated;
C. The license number of the vehicle involved in the violation;
D. The location where the violation took place; and
E. If necessary, any other facts that might be necessary in order to
secure a clear understanding of the circumstances attending such violation.
3. Issuance of Violation Notice. The police officer or other person
making the report shall attach to or place upon every such vehicle
a parking violation notice stating that the vehicle was parked in
violation of this Part. The notice shall contain instructions to the
owner or driver of the vehicle that if he will report to the Office
of the Township Police Department and pay the fine within 10 days
after the date of the notice, that act will save the violator from
the issuance of a traffic citation under the Vehicle Code and from
prosecution and payment of the fine and costs prescribed by the Vehicle
Code.

1. Penalties. Any person who violates any provision of this Part shall,
for each and every such violation and upon conviction thereof, be
sentenced to pay a fine of $20 plus costs.
2. Collection of Penalties. It shall be the duty of the Township Police
Department to collect all penalties for parking violations.
3. Disposition of Collected Penalties. All penalties collected by the
Township Police Department shall be turned over to the Township Treasurer
and properly receipted.
