There shall be a Municipal Court of the Township of Rockaway
as heretofore established, presided over by the Judge of the Municipal
Court appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of the Council,
as provided by general law and ordinances of the Township. Appointments
to the office of Judge of the Municipal Court shall be for a period
of three years from the date of his/her appointment. The Judge shall
receive such annual compensation as shall be fixed by ordinance. The
Judge of the Municipal Court shall possess the powers to perform the
duties as prescribed by general laws and the rules of the Supreme
Court. The Court Administrator shall be appointed by the Council for
a term of three years, and compensation shall be fixed by ordinance.
The Court Administrator shall be tenured after 10 years in office.
