The purpose of this article is to establish regulations, standards
and procedures for the siting and co-location of small wireless facilities
on rights-of-way within the Village's jurisdiction, or outside of
the rights-of-way on property zoned by the Village exclusively for
commercial or industrial use, in a manner that is consistent with
the Small Wireless Facilities Deployment Act (50 ILCS 840/1 et seq.).
This article supersedes all ordinances or parts of ordinances
adopted prior hereto that are in conflict herewith, to the extent
of such conflict.
In the event that applicable federal or state laws or regulations
conflict with the requirements of this article, the wireless provider
shall comply with the requirements of this article to the maximum
extent possible without violating federal or state laws or regulations.
