It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining
a license as provided in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law,
to conduct games of chance within the Town of Marcellus, subject to
the provisions of this chapter, Article 9-A of the General Municipal
Law and the New York State Gaming Commission.
The conduct of games of chance on Sunday is permitted only when
it is specifically provided for in the license issued, and then only
between the hours of 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight. No games of chance,
however, shall be conducted on Easter Sunday or Christmas Day.
The Town Supervisor of the Town of Marcellus shall exercise
control over and supervision of all games of chance.
Pursuant to General Municipal Law § 190, Subdivision
3, certain "repeat" authorized organizations may submit summary applications.
This amended chapter shall be effective 30 days following enactment.
