GENERAL REFERENCES
Parks and playgrounds — See Ch. 203.
It is the purpose of this chapter to regulate the use of the
various recreational fields and parks of the Township of Pohatcong
in furtherance of their efficient use in a manner that advances the
health, safety and enjoyment of the Township's residents.
The Township Council of the Township of Pohatcong hereby adopts,
and incorporates by reference herein, the Pohatcong Township Facilities
Use Policy and Facility Use Agreement, revised September, 2018, as
a means to reserve use of Pohatcong's municipal parks, fields
and other facilities, thereby improving the accessibility and scheduling
of facilities and, at the same time, provide for their safe, constructive
and prolonged use. The policy and/or facility use agreement may be
amended from time to time by resolution adopted by affirmative vote
of a majority of the Mayor and Council.
