The R-1C District is designed to require the use of nontraditional
residential subdivision design known as conservation subdivision,
that will cluster the residential parcels and preserve open space
and forest land, but so designed to be spacious and protected from
encroachment of noncompatible land use, noise and traffic hazard.
The district is also intended to avoid overcrowding by requiring certain
minimum yards, open spaces and site area while making available dwellings
designed for and occupied exclusively by one family and constructed
under the Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code.
