No person shall maliciously, willfully, or negligently break,
damage, destroy, uncover, deface, or tamper with any structure, appurtenances,
or equipment which is a part of the sewage works. Any person violating
this provision shall be subject to immediate arrest under charge of
criminal mischief as set forth in 17-A M.R.S.A. § 806, as
amended, as well as be subject to civil liability for reasonable costs
to repair or replace the damaged structure or equipment, including,
without limitation, the Town's reasonable costs and attorneys' fees.
