There is hereby created the office of Maintenance Superintendent for the City of Concordia, said office to be filled by appointment made by the Mayor by and with the consent of the Board of Aldermen as provided for in Section 115.010.

The Maintenance Superintendent shall supervise all maintenance
and repair of public streets, alleys, sidewalks, curbs and gutters,
and other public ways shall coordinate work with the City Administrator,
or, in his/her absence, the Mayor.

The Mayor may, with the consent of a majority of all the members
elected to the Board of Aldermen, remove from office any appointive
officer of the City at will, and any such appointive officer may be
so removed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the members elected to
the Board of Aldermen, independently of the Mayor's approval
or recommendation.
