A service charge of $20 shall be added to any account owing
Galloway Township if payment tendered on the account was made by check
or other written instrument and such check or other written instrument
is returned for insufficient funds.
The service charge authorized hereby shall be collected in the
matter prescribed by law for the collection of the account for which
said check or other written instrument was tendered.
To the extent that a check or other written instrument has been
returned for insufficient funds, the governing body shall have the
right to require the person or entity issuing said check or written
instrument to tender all future payments in cash, or by certified
or cashier’s check.
