The Official Seal of the City of Orange Township shall be an outer circle of golden yellow with the words "Orange, New Jersey" on the top and "Settled 1678" at the bottom, all in blue lettering separated by two (2) blue stars. The inner circle consists of a graphic depiction of a lion, the House of Orange Crest, which will also appear in blue. The lion is drawn in progressive bans, symbolizing the city's modern and progressive attitude. The circle is bordered by green leafy vines which also adds to the idea of growth for the City of Orange Township. The city's slogan "History Making Progress" appears in blue lettering in a golden yellow ribbon centered underneath the lion.
It is the duty of the Municipal Clerk to ensure that the Official Seal and official slogan of the City of Orange Township, New Jersey, be used only for authorized purposes.
