A.
It shall be unlawful for anyone to operate any truck or commercial vehicle in excess of the indicated maximum gross weight upon any of the streets or parts of streets, except for the purpose of delivering household goods, or for the construction, repair or maintenance of homes thereon, described in Schedule VI (§ 200-37), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
B.
No person or corporation shall park a truck, tractor, trailer, omnibus or construction equipment on any municipal street between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m. of any day. Proper signs shall be erected on all roadways entering the city to such effect. This section shall not apply to any vehicles hereinabove enumerated which have a carrying capacity of one-half (1/2) ton or less and such vehicles shall be expressly exempted.
