[A.C. 1969, 3.1]
The Mayor shall be the chief executive of the City government. He shall, without limitation thereto:
(a)
Address the Council annually on the condition of the City government, its needs and his recommendations for the ensuing year;
(b)
Enforce the Charter and ordinances of the City;
(c)
Supervise and direct all of the departments of the City government and coordinate City programs and activities within the executive branch;
(d)
Require each department to make an annual and such other reports of its work as he may deem desirable;
(e)
With the advice and consent of the Council, appoint all officers and employees for whose election or appointment no other provision is made by Charter or ordinance; and,
(f)
From time to time make such recommendations for action by the Council as he may deem in the public interest.
