Hereafter, no person or persons, firm or corporation, whether
principal or agent, shall peddle or sell, or solicit orders for any
goods, wares or merchandise, or shall, in any other manner, conduct
or carry on an itinerant sales program for such goods, wares, or merchandise,
without first obtaining a permit from the proper Township authorities
as hereinafter set forth.

The fee for such permit shall be as set from time to time by
resolution of the Board of Supervisors; such sum to be paid to the
Township Treasurer, or any other authorized agent that may hereinafter
be appointed by the Board of Township Supervisors of Robinson Township.
Upon payment of the amount due, the Treasurer or other such authorized
agent, shall issue a license to the applicant.
No person, persons, firm or corporation licensed under the provisions
of this article shall engage in selling, peddling or soliciting at
any time on Sundays, or upon any other day of the week before 9:00
a.m. or after 6:00 p.m.
No person, persons, firm or corporation, licensed under the
provisions of this article shall hawk or cry his wares within the
Township; nor shall he/she use any loudspeaker or horn, or any other
sound amplification device.
This article shall not apply to farmers selling their own produce,
or to any sale of goods, wares or merchandise by the owners thereof,
the proceeds of which are to be applied to any charitable or philanthropic
purpose.

Any person, firm or corporation, who shall violate any provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding,
be subject to a fine of not more than $300, and/or to imprisonment
for a period not exceeding 90 days.
