program in the Borough of Merchantville, so as to protect public health,
safety and welfare, and to prescribe penalties for the failure to
comply.

It shall be a violation of this article to sweep, rake, blow,
or otherwise place yard waste that is not containerized at the curb
or along the street except on days designated by the Borough for scheduled
yard waste vacuum pickup. Materials may be placed between the curb
and the sidewalk (commonly referred to as the "grass strip") seven
(7) days in advance of the posted days for yard waste vacuum pickup.

waste must remove the yard waste from the street within twenty-four
(24) hours of formal notification or said party shall be deemed in
violation of this article.
