The purpose of the within ordinance is to comply with the requirements of Chapter 110 P.L. 1988 which establishes the requirement to establish the position of Chief Financial Officer of each municipality within the State of New Jersey.
It is hereby the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Township of Barnegat, Ocean County, New Jersey.[1]

The requirements concerning the appointment of the Barnegat Township Chief Financial Officer as well as the qualifications for said office shall be as required by Chapter 110 P.L. Laws of New Jersey 1988.
