Township of Barnegat, NJ Chapter 9A Deputy Township Clerk

§ 9A-1 Position created.

There is hereby established the position of Deputy Township Clerk within the Township of Barnegat, Ocean County, New Jersey.

§ 9A-3 Powers and duties.

During the absence or disability of the Township Clerk, the Deputy Clerk shall have all of the powers and perform the functions and duties of the Township Clerk.

§ 9A-4 Compensation.

The salary of the Deputy Township Clerk shall be established by the Township Committee pursuant to its duly adopted Municipal Employees' Salary Ordinance.[1]

§ 9A-5 Repealer.

This chapter repeals any inconsistent ordinance or ordinances or part or parts thereof.

§ 9A-6 When effective.

This chapter shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication as required by law.
