The Clerk shall receive and transmit all written communications directly or indirectly connected with official Township business, including but not limited to any memoranda, correspondence, notes, reports, e-mail, facsimile transmission, or any other writing to or on behalf of the Township Council in accordance with the Handling of Communications Policy as adopted by Council resolution. The Handling of Communications Policy shall be kept on file with the Clerk and may be amended by Council resolution from time to time.
The list of written communications listed above is not intended to serve as an all-inclusive list of communications. Other types of written communications may apply to this section.
All written communications directly or indirectly connected with official Township business shall be deemed to be public record in accordance with the Open Public Records Act, P.L. 2001, c. 404 (Jan. 8, 2002).
