Borough of Blawnox, PA Chapter 78 Planning Committee

§ 78-1 Planning Commission abolished.

Pursuant to Article II, Section 201 of the Municipalities Planning Code[1] of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Council of the Borough of Blawnox hereby abolishes the Borough of Blawnox Planning Commission.

§ 78-2 Planning Committee established.

As authorized by Section 201, 53 P.S. § 10201, the Council of the Borough of Blawnox hereby establishes the Blawnox Borough Planning Committee to be comprised of members appointed from the Council of the Borough of Blawnox.

§ 78-3 Appointment of engineering advisor.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]

The Council of the Borough of Blawnox shall appoint an engineering advisor to the Blawnox Borough Planning Committee.

§ 78-4 Appointment of legal advisor.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]

The Council of the Borough of Blawnox shall appoint a legal advisor to the Blawnox Borough Planning Committee.

§ 78-5 Repealer.

All prior ordinances or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this chapter are hereby repealed.

§ 78-6 Severability.

If any provision or part of this chapter is for any reason found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such provision or part shall be excluded from the chapter and shall not affect or impair any remaining provision or part of the chapter.
