[Ord. No. 35-89, Preamble; Ord. No. 96-14 § 1]
In order to protect the public health, safety and general welfare,
it is necessary to provide adequate access for fire fighting and other
emergency vehicles to the residential buildings in the Villages of
Briarwood, Coachlight Square and Sutton Woods.
By reason of the widths of the roads in the Villages of Briarwood,
Coachlight Square and Sutton Woods, the parking of motor vehicles
along the roads may interfere with adequate access to residential
buildings by emergency vehicles.
The Briarwood-Coachlight Square Homeowners' Association and
the Sutton Woods Homeowners' Association, which won and maintain the
roads in their respective villages, have requested the Township Committee
to adopt enforceable Township regulations to prohibit the parking
of motor vehicles along the roads in the Villages of Briarwood, Coachlight
Square and Sutton Woods.
