In order to ensure the safe efficient operation of the Township of West Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department, no person, except for a Fire Department member or Township employee who obtains the appropriate parking permit upon application to the Township Clerk, shall stop, park or leave standing any vehicle, whether attended or unattended, in the Township-owned Fire Department Headquarters parking lot located along Bloomfield Avenue and Fairfield Avenue.

At the Governing Body's discretion, parking spaces may be designated by appropriate signs giving notice thereof for public parking for Harrison Park subject to a specified time limit.

Any unoccupied vehicle parked, stopped or left standing in violation shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic and any police officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
In addition, any person or persons violating the provisions of this section shall also, upon conviction thereof, but subject to a fine as stated in Chapter 1, Subsection 1-5.7, Local Supplement Violations Bureau Schedule, of this Code.
