south to the southwest corner of the north half of the northwest quarter
of Section 29, Township 78 North, Range 4 East of the 5th P.M.; thence
east along the south line of said north half of the northwest quarter
of said Section 29 to the southeast corner of said north half of the
northwest quarter of said Section 29; thence north along the north
and south center line of said Section 29 and along the north and south
center line of Sections 20 and 17, Township 78 North, Range 4 East
of the 5th P.M. to the north line of said Section 17; thence east
one mile along the north line of said Section 17 and Section 16, Township
78 North, Range 4 East of the 5th P.M. to the northeast corner of
the northwest quarter of said Section 16, being also the southeast

of said Section 19 to the intersection of the center line of the main
channel of the Mississippi River; thence northeasterly following the
meanders of said river along the middle of said main channel to the
place of beginning.
