A. 
License Required. No person shall be permitted to move houses or any other buildings on the streets of the City without first having obtained a license therefor. Applications for such license shall be made in writing to the City Clerk.
B. 
Fee To Be Paid. The fee for such license shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) for a daily license.
C. 
Regulations To Be Complied With. Persons licensed under this Code must comply with all the ordinance provisions relating to the work being done and must keep lights and warnings maintained as is required by ordinance or other law.
D. 
Inspections By Chief Of Police. It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to make or cause to be made such inspections as may be necessary to insure compliance with the provisions of this Code or other law.
E. 
Liability Of Contractor. The contractor performing the work of moving any house or building shall be liable for any and all damages done to any property whatsoever while performing the work and shall also be liable for any and all damages which may result against the City on account of such moving.
F. 
Bond Of Contractor. The contractor shall give bond in an amount to be fixed by the Building Commissioner sufficient to cover any damages done to property owners in the moving of any houses or buildings and to indemnify the City for any damages and losses of any nature sustained, which bond shall be approved by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen prior to commencement of a work hereunder.
