When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle on the following described parking areas except handicapped persons:

B.
Any person, persons, firm or corporation violating this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than fifty dollars and fifty cents ($50.50) nor more than two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00).
