[Ord. #99-995, § 1]
User connection shall mean any property which fronts on a water
main. For the purpose of this chapter, a property shall be deemed
to front on the water main if any of its boundaries abut a street
or easement in which a water main is now or hereafter located and
which water main is part of a water main of the Borough of Tinton
Falls or part of a water supply facility available to the Borough
or which is authorized by the Borough.
[Ord. #99-995, § III]
The Borough of Tinton Falls shall mail a notice to connect to
every owner of a user connection in existence or under construction
at the time when a water main shall have been installed and is ready
to distribute water.

given to make any such connection to the water main and water supply

cause such connection or installation to be made under its direction
and supervision or award one or more contracts for the making of such
improvement, and such water connection or installation charge shall
bear interest and be first and paramount lien against the respective
property or properties connected with the water main to the same extent
as assessments for local improvements and shall be collected and enforced
in the same manner.
[Ord. #99-995, § VI]
All work of making any connection to any water supply facility
shall be done at the expense of the owner, under the supervision of

be on file in the office of Code Enforcement.
