Pursuant to the provisions of § 8-800 of the Village Law of the State of New York, the Police Department of the Village of Little Valley, as the same may be constituted on the effective date of this chapter, is hereby abolished, and the Board of Trustees of said Village are hereby authorized to provide for such police protection as said Board may deem necessary by appropriation in the annual budget.

This chapter is adopted subject to permissive referendum of the residents of the Village of Little Valley, New York, pursuant to the provisions of § 8-800 of the Village Law of the State of New York.
