The following words and terms shall have the following meanings:
ATHLETIC OR RECREATIONAL FACILITIES OWNED OR LEASED BY THE TOWN OF BARRINGTON
Any athletic or recreational facility, including but not limited to any playing field, ball field, basketball court, tennis court or playground, together with the area within 150 feet thereof, which is owned or operated by the Town of Barrington. This shall exclude Barrington Beach.
TOBACCO PRODUCT
Any product containing, made, or derived from tobacco or nicotine that is intended for human consumption, whether smoked, heated, chewed, absorbed, dissolved, inhaled, snorted, sniffed, or ingested by any other means, including, but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, little cigars, chewing tobacco, pipe tobacco, and snuff; and any device that is commonly used to deliver nicotine to the person inhaling from the device, including, but not limited to, an electronic cigarette, cigar, pipe, or hookah.

YOUTH EVENT
Any scheduled game, match, practice or the like, where any participant is under the age of 21.

No person shall use any tobacco product at any athletic or recreational facility owned or leased by the Town of Barrington during youth events.
Any person found violating this chapter may be subject to immediate ejection from the athletic or recreational facility and/or to a fine not exceeding $100.
The Town Clerk shall forward a copy of this chapter to each of Barrington's youth athletic organizations with the recommendation of the Town Council that it be incorporated into each organization's bylaws.
