The Municipal Court of the Township of Sparta is hereby established. The Court shall have an official seal bearing the impress of the name of the Court.
The Council shall appoint a Judge of the Municipal Court who shall be an attorney at law of New Jersey, need not be a resident, and who shall serve for a term of three years.
The Judge shall have the jurisdiction, powers, and duties prescribed by law and the rules of the Court.

There shall be a Municipal Court Administrator who shall serve for an indefinite term and perform the duties prescribed by law and the rules of Court. The Clerk shall be assigned to the Municipal Court of the Township of Sparta and shall be appointed by the Township Manager.

The Manager may appoint a Deputy Violations Clerk who shall perform the duties of the Clerk in his absence and shall perform other duties prescribed by law, the rules of Court or the Manager.
There shall be a Municipal Prosecutor, appointed by the Council. The Municipal Prosecutor need not be a resident of the Township, but shall be an attorney-at-law of New Jersey.
