The purpose of this district is to provide for residential neighborhoods
composed of single- family homes, two-family homes, and multiple-family
dwellings in combination with selected public, institutional, service
and retail uses compatible within predominantly residential areas.
Furthermore, this district is designed to address the large old homes
which may be better used for multiple-family than single-family uses
in the future.
