Borough of Homestead, PA Article A Organization

§ 1-901 Composition.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see AO)]

There shall be, in and for the Borough of Homestead, a Police Department, which shall consist of the following officers and patrolmen:

1. One Chief of Police.

2. One Corporal.

3. Two Sergeants.

4. As many police officers as the Borough Council may, from time to time, determine to be necessary.

§ 1-902 Control of Department.

The Police Department of the Borough of Homestead shall be in the charge and control of the Mayor, as provided by § 1121 of the Borough Code (8 Pa.C.S.A § 1121), and shall be subject to all provisions of the Borough Code relating to police.[1]
