[HISTORY: Adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Woodlynne 11-9-2006 by Ord. No. 2006-23. Amendments noted where applicable.]
The following guidelines have been set by the governing body of the Borough of Woodlynne:
A. 
All block parties have to be approved by the governing body at least 30 days prior to the planned event.
B. 
No block party shall take place when the Borough has a function scheduled in town. Example: Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.
C. 
The block party shall not exceed six hours maximum time, to begin no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and end no later than 9:00 p.m.

D. 
There has to be a 50% plus one majority rule vote of the residents on the block to be considered for approval.
E. 
There must be a contact person for open lines of communication with the governing body who will also be responsible to sign for and return cones used to block the street.
F. 
The residents are responsible for cleaning up the block before and after the party.
G. 
There is to be no profanity in the music to be played.
H. 
No Borough tables or chairs can be used to furnish these block parties.
I. 
The Borough of Woodlynne will not be held liable for any injuries that may occur during these community-planned block parties.
