Where a water closet drains into the sewer system there will be no less than a three inch cast iron or SCH-40-DWV plastic or acceptable equal soil pipe used and stubbed no less than four feet outside of the building. No more than two water closets shall be on any three inch line going to the sewer. There shall be a clean-out placed in the house line for emergency to rod in or rod out the system.

The house sewer from the house to the sewer main shall be no less than cast iron, vitrified clay pipe or SCH 40 D.W.V. plastic four inch material or acceptable equal with manufacturer specified solvent only to be used to make the weld.

Plastic drop inlet into main sewer shall be made with two 45° joints.
4. 
Where no water closet exists, two or three inch material of equal specifications may be used.
Galvanized, cast iron, copper or plastic material may be used above slab. Where plastic is used, material shall be SCH. Forty D.W.V. material or acceptable equal. To make the weld, a purple primer must be used on schedule to plastic, and an orange primer must be used on PVC plastic.

All sewer mains shall be vitrified clay, trust pipe, or P.V.C. within the city. P.V.C. pipe must be equal, comparable, or better than Carlon P.V.C. "Z" joint, SDR 35 with a minimum stiffness of 45 feet PSI, ASTM designation. Collector lines shall not be less than six inch material.
2. 
The tap shall be an approved tap saddle or P.V.C. saddle with aluminum bands.
3. 
When sewer main installations are being made, there shall be an on-site approved City Inspector present at all times.
4. 
The ditch around the pipe and one foot above shall be tamped to an 85% proctor or as specified by the manufacturer.
5. 
All installations shall conform to the Oklahoma State Department of Health standards for size and manhole spacing.
