When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
operate any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of the amounts specified
in Schedule E at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets
described in said schedule.

When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
operate any commercial vehicle exceeding __________ pounds gross weight
at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets described
in Schedule E, except that such vehicles may be operated thereon for
the purpose of delivering or picking up materials or merchandise,
and then only by entering such street at the intersection nearest
the destination of the vehicle and proceeding thereon no farther than
the nearest intersection thereafter.

On state-aid and state highways the installation of signs referred
to by this article is subject to Maine Department of Transportation
approval.

No motorized vehicles of any kind shall be permitted upon any
bikeway within the City of Old Town, which has been so constructed
as to lie outside of the City or state highway system. This prohibition
shall not include municipal or university vehicles using the bikeway
for maintenance or emergency purposes.
(a) The bikeway leading from Perkins Avenue to the University of Maine
and upon or near the old, so-called, Veazie Railroad right-of-way,is
hereby designated such a bikeway.
