All streets and sidewalks shall be constructed and replaced
in accordance with the City of Moscow Mills Street, Sidewalk, and
Parking Lot Construction Standards.
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to move or cause
to move or be moved any engine, heavy machine or tractor having flanges,
lugs or other device projecting from the outer surface of the wheel
or wheels thereof in such manner that the said projecting part on
said wheel or wheels cuts or presses into the surface of the streets
of the City.
No building of any kind, nor any structure in the nature of
a building, shall be moved over or along any street or alley of the
City without the written permit of the Chief of Police or designee;
said permit, if granted, shall name the street(s) or alley(s) upon
which such building shall be moved, the date and time when it shall
be moved, and the conditions upon which it may be moved. It shall
be unlawful to move such building or structure unless in compliance
with the written permit. This section shall not apply to moving a
mobile home, or other structure, which requires a Missouri Department
of Transportation permit.
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to place or keep
any obstruction on the streets, sidewalks or alleys of the City so
as to interfere with or impede pedestrians or vehicular traffic.
It shall be the policy of the City of Moscow Mills to repair
or remove sidewalks at the discretion of the Board of Aldermen.
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to build or construct
a balcony or awning so that same extends beyond the property line.
This section shall not prohibit the use of canvas awnings over the
entrance of doorways and/or windows.
Driveway entrances located within the public right-of-way shall
not be maintained by the City including snow removal and structural
integrity.
It shall be unlawful for any person or entity to build or construct
any driveway entrances over any sidewalk, street or alley without
first complying with City ordinances.
Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of this
section shall be subject to a fine of $1 to $500, plus any additional
fine set by the court, in accordance with Missouri Revised Statutes,
and court costs.
