Any historic structure containing a use permitted under Subsection
3A above wholly or partially destroyed by fire, explosion, flood or other natural phenomenon, or legally condemned, may be reconstructed and used for the same use, provided that reconstruction of the building shall be commenced within one year from the date the building was destroyed or condemned, shall be carried on without interruption and shall constitute an historically accurate restoration or rebuilding matching the original in terms of size, design, materials, color, texture and appearance. A bronze plaque shall be placed in a prominent location on the rebuilt structure noting the date of the destruction and the date of the rebuilding and restoration. No further expansion of the original use will be permitted.
