There shall be the following departments, officers, boards and
commissions in the Borough of Milltown:
a. Offices Established.
10. Superintendent/Supervisor of Public Works (Certified Public Works
Manager).
14. Superintendent of Electrical Utility and Water/Sewer Utility.
15. Director
of Municipal Utilities.

b. Departments Created.
3. Department of Parks and Recreation.
5. Department of Social Services.
6. Department of Public Works and Recycling.
7. Department of Code Enforcement.
d. Boards, Commissions and Committees.
5. Office of Emergency Management.
8. Environmental Commission.
9. Municipal Alliance Committee.
10. Cable Television Advisory Committee.
11. Milltown Ford Avenue Redevelopment Agency.
12. Board of Assessment Commissioners.
13. Senior Citizen Advisory Committee.
14. Human Relations Committee.

From time to time, the Council may, by resolution or as required
by law, organize the administration of the Borough into Departments
and may appoint an officer or individual as a Department Head for
each such Department. The head of a Department so appointed, subject
to this chapter and the approval or direction of the Council, shall:
a. Prescribe the internal organization of the work of his Department.
b. Direct and supervise subordinate officers and employees of the Department
and make, alter and enforce individual work assignments.
c. Examine payrolls, bills and claims chargeable to Departmental appropriations.
d. Maintain such records of work performance and unit costs thereof
as may be approved or required by the Council.
e. Provide such information and reports on the work of the Department
as may from time to time be required by the Council.
f. Exercise such other or different powers of administrative supervision
and direction as the Council may delegate to him.
