The following titles are hereby deleted: City Attorney and Director
Department of Law; Director, Department of Engineering; Director,
Department of Finance; Director, Department of Planning and Community
Development; and Director, Department of Public Safety.
The compensation paid to the Corporation Counsel shall be either
an annual salary or fixed-fee basis set by the Mayor or on an hourly
rate based upon actual time and expenses as set forth in a contract
with the Corporation Counsel, within the budgetary constraints established
by the Council.

The annual salary for the Mayor of Hoboken shall be $116,950;
however, for the 2020 calendar year, the salary shall be reduced to
$105,255 year/$3,898.33 bi-weekly.

The annual salary for a member of the Hoboken City Council shall
be $24,130; however, for the 2020 calendar year, the salary shall
be reduced to $21,717 year/$804.33 bi-weekly. The annual salary for
the Hoboken City Council President, effective July 1, 2009, shall
be $26,541; however, for the 2020 calendar year, the salary shall
be reduced to $23,886.90 year/$884,70 bi-weekly. All members of the
Hoboken City Council shall be entitled to receive equivalent health
care benefits as are set forth in the current collective bargaining
agreement between the City and the Hoboken Municipal Supervisors Association
but shall not receive longevity pay or any other benefits.

Department Heads (Directors) salaries shall be determined by
the Mayor, but for the 2020 calendar year shall not exceed as follows:
A. Business Administrator: $146,250 year/$5,416.67 bi-weekly.
B. Director of Health and Human Services: $116,388 year/$4,310.67 bi-weekly.
C. Director of Finance: $90,630 year/$3,356.67 bi-weekly.
D. Remaining Directors: $114,480 year/$4,240 bi-weekly.

The Mayor, Department Heads (Directors), Municipal Manager,
and Corporation Counsel shall be entitled to equivalent benefits as
are set forth in the current collective bargaining agreement between
the City and the Hoboken Municipal Supervisors Association with the
following exceptions. The Mayor, Department Heads (Directors), Municipal
Manager, and Corporation Counsel are not entitled to longevity pay,
overtime, collective bargaining agreement increases, perfect attendance
awards, and/or uniform allowances.

A. Effective
January 1, 2015, the Mayor, Department Heads (Directors), Municipal
Manager, and Corporation Counsel shall receive 20 vacation days per
annum. In the initial year of service for the Mayor, any Department
Head (Director). Municipal Manager, or Corporation Counsel, the vacation
time shall be accrued on a pro-rated basis. Vacation shall also be
pro-rated during the last year of service.
B. The Mayor.
any Department Head (Director). Municipal Manager. or Corporation
Counsel may carry over one year's vacation leave credit remaining
unused at the end of the last business day of the calendar year into
the succeeding year only. If not taken by the end of the succeeding
year, the vacation leave credit will be forfeited.
C. The maximum
amount of vacation time that the Mayor, any Department Head (Director),
Municipal Manager, or Corporation Counsel may accrue or cash out upon
retirement or resignation is 40 days (which is two full years' worth).
