The Village elects not to designate an official newspaper. When
newspaper publication is required by applicable laws, the Village
may select a newspaper likely to give notice in the area or to the
person affected, on a case-by-case basis.
Whenever applicable laws permit posting in lieu of publication in a newspaper, the Village may post as described in §
1-23 or
1-24.
Pursuant to § 985.02(2)(a), Wis. Stats., the Village
elects to post in at least one public place likely to give notice
to persons affected and placed electronically on an internet site
maintained by the Village. Unless designated otherwise by the Village
Administrator from time to time, the physical posting shall be on
the Village Hall posting board.
Nothing in this Article
III shall be interpreted to prevent posting or publication by other lawful means. This Article
III empowers the Village to exercise posting options provided by § 985.02(2), Wis. Stats., and does not otherwise waive or modify applicable posting and publication requirements of state law.
