Mulch will be available to Village of Bloomfield and Town of
East Bloomfield residents only, as supplies allow. Proof of residency
is required and may be requested by DPW personnel at any time. If
a contractor is picking up mulch for a customer that is in the Village
of Bloomfield or Town of East Bloomfield, proof of the final delivery
point of the mulch must be established.
A.
A limit of six cubic yards of mulch will be available per property
per year. No dump trucks will be permitted.
B.
All loading must be manual, and no equipment may be brought in for
loading purposes.
C.
Hours of operation for the mulch pile will be the same as the hours
of operation for the brush pile.
D.
Loads of mulch removed from the DPW site must be of proper size for
the vehicle carrying the mulch and be covered with a tarp, if necessary.
E.
Mulch removed is for personal use only and may not be resold under
any circumstances.
