All plumbing leaks or any other existing violations or conditions that cause the peeling of paint or loosening of plaster shall be repaired before any surfaces are refinished or covered.

Upon completion of repair and prior to repainting an inspection shall be made to determine if the hazard has been satisfactorily eliminated. All repairs may be finished with a suitable non-lead paint or other hard non-lead surface.
