Editor's Note: Sections 14:11-1 through 14:11-10
of the 1966 Revised Ordinances have not been continued as private
pools are exempt from compliance with N.J.S. 26:4A-1 et seq. and the
City does not issue license for construction of in-ground private
pools as required in this Code. A building permit is required for
the construction of an in-ground pool in conformance with the State
Uniform Construction Code. See Title VII. Public swimming pools require
life-saving personnel and applicants, see N.J.S. 26:4A-1 et seq.
