A. 
The Town of Hoosick, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Highways, shall erect and maintain a stop sign on Bayer Road at the intersection of Johnson Hill Road in the Town of Hoosick.
B. 
The Superintendent of Highways shall install the sign as aforesaid at the designated location and clear any brush or other obstruction necessary to ensure a reasonable viewing range.
C. 
In the event any portion of this section shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

A. 
Legislative findings and statement of purpose.
(1) 
The Town Board hereby finds that the erection of a stop sign at the corner of Eagle Bridge Road and Tate Road will facilitate the flow of traffic at the intersection of Tate Road and Eagle Bridge Road.
(2) 
The purpose of this section is to protect the public safety, health and general welfare of the people of the Town of Hoosick and of the general public lawfully operating motor vehicles in the Town of Hoosick by erecting a stop sign at the intersection of Tate Road and Eagle Bridge Road.
B. 
Scope of restriction. The highway superintendent is hereby authorized to erect a stop sign at the intersection of Tate Road and Eagle Bridge Road.
C. 
Effective date. This article shall take effect upon filing with the New York State Secretary of State.
