Late
Fee. Businesses failing to submit an application for license renewal
by March 1 of the application year will be deemed to be late. Except
as may be provided otherwise in this Chapter the late fee assessed
will be ten dollars ($10.00) per calendar month or portion thereof
that it is late, with the maximum penalty not to exceed one hundred
dollars ($100.00).

Interest.
All license fees not paid to the City by the person required to remit
the same on the date when the same becomes due and payable shall bear
interest at a rate of eight percent (8%) per annum.
C.Â
Penalty.
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in any activity requiring
a business license without obtaining a license, to knowingly make
any false statement in applying for a license, or to fail to comply
with any provision of this Chapter and, upon conviction thereof, shall
be punished by a fine not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00).

Attorneys'
Fees. The City shall be entitled to enforce this Chapter through all
remedies lawfully available and entitled to all the City's costs of
enforcement under this Chapter, including reasonable attorneys' fees,
shall be chargeable to and payable by the licensee or taxpayer.
