It shall be unlawful for any person to go upon the grounds of
or stay within the boundaries of or on the premises of the Amelia
County Recreational Park between the hours of 12:00 midnight and sunrise.
Any person who violates this article shall be guilty of loitering
and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of $100 on the first
offense. Upon a second or subsequent offense of violating this article,
a person found guilty shall be punished by a fine of not less than
$200 nor more than $500.
Sections
104-1 and
104-2 of this article shall not have any force or effect until 1/2 hour after the conclusion of any game or organized event held in the park which extends beyond 12:00 midnight.
No go-carts or all-terrain vehicles shall be allowed within
the Amelia County Recreational Park.
No motorcycles of any type and as defined in § 46.2-100
of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, dirt bikes or any motor-driven
vehicle of any type shall be allowed in any area marked for pedestrian
use or upon any trails, walkways or nondesignated parking areas or
identified public roadways within the Amelia County Recreational Park.
A law enforcement officer shall issue a summons to any person
whom he reasonably believes has violated this article, making the
summons returnable to the General District Court of Amelia County,
Virginia.
All fines collected under this article shall be paid over to
the County Treasurer and credited to the general County fund.
