Pursuant to authority contained in §§ 24.2-305 through 24.2-310.1 and § 24.2-712 of the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended, the precincts and their respective polling places for Amelia County, Virginia, are hereby created and established as set forth in this article.
Not including the central absentee precinct, each election district shall have only one precinct, the boundaries of which are the same as the boundaries for the respective election districts.
The polling places for each precinct shall be as set forth below:
A. 
Election District No. 1: Paineville Firehouse located on State Route 644, 12151 Fowlkes Bridge Road, north of its intersection with State Route 616.
B. 
Election District No. 2: Mattoax Firehouse located on State Route 616, 12201 Genito Road, just west of intersection State Routes 604 and 616.
C. 
Election District No. 3: Amelia Firehouse located on State Route 614, 8950 Otterburn Road, at the intersection with Business State Route 360.
D. 
Election District No. 4: War Memorial Building, 16330 Dunn Street, Amelia Court House, VA 23002.

Election District No. 5: Mannboro Firehouse located on State Route 708, 8641 Namozine Road, just south of its intersection with State Route 612.

There is hereby established a central absentee voter election precinct, for use in all elections. The central absentee voter election precinct shall conform in all respects with the provisions of § 24.2-712 of the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended. The polling place shall be the Amelia County Voter Registration office, located at 9127 Washington Street, Suite 102, in the Village of Amelia, Virginia.
The Secretary of the Electoral Board shall notify by mail, no later than 15 days prior to the next general, special or primary election, all registered voters whose precinct and/or polling place has been changed by the provisions of this article.
Should any section or provision of this article be declared invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section or provision of this article.
This article shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption and enactment by the Board of Supervisors of Amelia County, Virginia.
