Any development of land must comply with Chapter 89 of the City Code, entitled "Grading and Filling."

All site plans shall show proposed grading in two-foot contours. A final as-built grading plan must be submitted to the Department of Public Works prior to the release of a full certificate of occupancy.

The project engineer must utilize appropriate grading measures and practices to avoid manufactured slopes along the exterior perimeter of a development. When the construction of a retaining wall is necessary it shall be no greater than six-feet in height. Natural vegetation must be preserved and protected wherever possible.
D.
Sediment and erosion control plans must be approved prior to the issuance of a building permit or a permit for the use of land.
