There is hereby created an emergency telephone system board (ETS board), which shall consist of seven members, all of whom shall be representative of the public safety agency 911 users and appointed on the basis of their ability or experience. Such members shall be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. Members shall serve a term of one year and may be reappointed to successive terms. The Village President shall designate a chairperson and a vice chairperson. Members shall serve without compensation but shall be reimbursed for their actual and necessary expenses. Members may be removed at any time by the President with the approval of a majority of the Board of Trustees.
