The City hereby adopts the following code provisions of St. Louis County, Missouri, provided that the words "City of Fenton, Missouri" shall be inserted wherever the expression "name of jurisdiction" or "local jurisdiction" appears in the St. Louis County ordinances hereinafter referenced, and provided that wherever St. Louis County or a division, department, or official of St. Louis County is referred to in the aforementioned ordinances of St. Louis County, it shall be construed to mean the City or the corresponding appropriate division, department, or official of the City, and further provided that wherever St. Louis County, Missouri, is referred to in the context of jurisdiction in the aforementioned ordinances of St. Louis County, it shall be deemed to mean Fenton, Missouri. Likewise, whenever the term "Department of Building Inspection" is referred to in the St. Louis County ordinances, it shall mean the City of Fenton Community Development Department and the terms "Code Official," "Building Official" or "Building Commissioner" appear in the ordinances of St. Louis County, it shall mean the City of Fenton Community Development Director, or duly appointed designee. Wherever the term "Board of Appeals" appears in the St. Louis County ordinances, it shall mean the Board of Administrative Review of the City of Fenton established by and in accordance with Chapter 160.

Building Code. The "International Building Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Code Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,654 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Building Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Building Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Mechanical Code. The "International Mechanical Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Code Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,619 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Mechanical Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Mechanical Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Electrical Code. The "National Electrical Code, 2014 edition," as published by the National Fire Protection Association, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,430 as adopted on June 18, 2019, effective October 1, 2019, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Electrical Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Electrical Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Plumbing Code. The "Uniform Plumbing Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,424 as adopted on June 5, 2019, effective October 1, 2019, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Plumbing Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Plumbing Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety days (90), or both such fine and imprisonment.

Explosives Code. Chapter 711 of St. Louis County Code of Ordinances as adopted and amended on November 12, 1997, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance 18,693 is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Explosives Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Explosives Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Residential Code. The "International Residential Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,654 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Residential Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Residential Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Existing Building Code. The "International Existing Building Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,654 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Existing Building Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Existing Building Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Land Disturbance Code. Chapter 1114 of St. Louis County Code of Ordinances as adopted and amended on August 12, 2009, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance 24,084 is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Land Disturbance Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Land Disturbance Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Property Maintenance Code. The "International Property Maintenance Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,617 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Property Maintenance Code for the City, as if fully set out herein; however, the Property Maintenance Code is only adopted for the limited purposes of enforcement by the St. Louis County Problem Property Unit. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Property Maintenance Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

Swimming Pool And Spa Code. The "International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Code Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,654 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Swimming Pool and Spa Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Swimming Pool and Spa Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
11. 
Fuel And Gas Code. The "International Fuel Gas Code, 2015 edition," as published by the International Code Council, as adopted, amended, and revised by St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to St. Louis County Ordinance No. 27,619 as adopted on April 1, 2020, effective July 1, 2020, is hereby incorporated by reference and adopted as the Fuel and Gas Code for the City, as if fully set out herein. Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Fuel and Gas Code shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) and costs, or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
B. 
A copy of the above-mentioned Codes shall be kept on file with the City Clerk and shall be available for inspection by any interested person.
