A. 
The Township of Little Egg Harbor maintains a dropoff center at the Department of Public Works facility for the convenience of Township residents for the disposition of various waste building materials generated by their personal use. Said dropoff center is for the use of residents of Little Egg Harbor Township for disposition of waste building materials generated by their personal use only.
B. 
Waste materials as set forth in this chapter and generated from the personal use of residents must be brought to the dropoff center during normal operating hours. It shall be a violation of this chapter for any resident to drop off waste materials at the Township dropoff center at any time other than normal operating hours as posted at the dropoff center. Residents must present government-issued identification, utility or tax bill proving their residence at the time of dropoff.
C. 
Specially marked containers and/or areas shall be maintained at the dropoff center for waste materials as set forth by this chapter. All waste materials must be placed in the proper container and/or area, which shall be plainly marked. It shall be a violation of this chapter for any resident to place waste materials anywhere either inside or outside the dropoff center except the designated areas, as posted at the center.
D. 
No items containing gasoline, oil, or a motor of any kind or items over three feet in length or width will be accepted at the dropoff center.
E. 
Residents shall be limited to a total of six dropoffs in a calendar year, and each dropoff is limited to no more material than can be reasonably contained in the bed of a pickup truck.
F. 
It shall be a violation of this chapter for any contractor or other business entity to drop off construction/building materials at the Little Egg Harbor Township dropoff center.
Any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $2,000, by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days and/or by a term of community service not to exceed 90 days. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
