(a) 
The possession and/or use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited in all Town parks, except during Town-sponsored events and within the Town's designated outdoor refreshment area.
(b) 
No motorized vehicles shall be allowed in any park, except for the following:
(1) 
Only vehicles belonging to the Towns of Abingdon and Damascus, or their successors and assigns, when necessary for law enforcement, maintenance or other official and authorized use.
(2) 
Vehicles of adjacent landowners when crossing the trail are required. This exemption is limited to periodic crossings and does not allow general travel along the trail.
(3) 
Electrically powered wheelchairs operated by handicapped individuals with disabilities, used at their own risk.
(4) 
Electric-power-assisted bicycles are permitted on the trail.
(c) 
Camping is only permitted in designated areas clearly marked by signs or markers.
(d) 
Littering in Town parks is strictly prohibited. All visitors must dispose of waste or trash in designated receptacles.
(e) 
All pets must be kept on a leash while in a Town park.
(f) 
Pet owners are required to dispose of any waste left by their pet in a Town park.
(g) 
Playing loud music, unless part of a Town-sponsored event, is strictly prohibited within a Town park.
(h) 
Visitors are encouraged to be considerate of others while using a Town park.
(i) 
Any organized events within a Town park must be approved by the Town Manager and/or their designee.
(j) 
Loitering and solicitation are strictly prohibited within a Town park.
(k) 
Except for law enforcement officers acting within the scope of their official duties, the brandishing or unauthorized use of firearms within a Town park is strictly prohibited.
(l) 
All Town parks will be closed from dusk to dawn, except Town-sponsored events.
(m) 
These rules and regulations apply to all Town parks
