A. 
No motor vehicle of any kind shall be permitted to park at any time in the City of Hazleton as follows:
(1) 
Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant or in a designated fire zone as noted by a line, sign, or red paint on the curb or street.
(2) 
Parked or stopped in a lane used by moving traffic.
(3) 
In a manner that obstructs or blocks vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
(4) 
Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station or, when a sign is properly posted, on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of the entrance.
(5) 
On any railroad tracks.
(6) 
In a space designated by the City of Hazleton or its designee as a handicapped parking zone, unless the vehicle parked in that zone is the vehicle authorized to be parked in that handicapped parking zone, by permit, for handicap parking.
(7) 
It shall be illegal to park a vehicle with a missing or expired inspection or registration sticker.
(8) 
In a designated snow maintenance area. The definition of the term "snow maintenance" shall be applying salt, sand, or any other such materials before, during and after a snowfall or snowstorm, as well as plowing and removing snow from the City's roads and shoulders.

(9) 
Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing signal, stop sign, yield sign, or traffic-control signal located at the site of a roadway.
(10) 
In an area designated as prohibited parking by temporary regulations, when signs are erected giving notice.
(11) 
In a manner that constitutes double parking.
(12) 
In a manner that obstructs a crosswalk or sidewalk.
(13) 
In parking in a zone designated for the use of motor buses or other means of public transportation.
(14) 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing.
(15) 
In a manner that blocks an entrance to or exit from a public or private driveway or garage.
(16) 
In a posted "No Parking Zone" by signs and lines.
(17) 
At any place where official signs prohibit parking.
(18) 
In a designated street sweeping area.
(19) 
Within 20 feet of any intersection.
(20) 
Facing the wrong direction.
(21) 
Opposite the flow of traffic.
(22) 
More than 12 inches from the curb.
(23) 
At an improper angle.
(24) 
On a sidewalk or curb.
(25) 
In a designated loading zone area.
(26) 
In parking at a metered space longer than the designated time limit.
(27) 
In parking outside of the delineated space provided for parking meters.

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Chapter 1, Article II, Violations and Penalties, of this Code.

A. 
Monthly parking rates at the Parking Garage of the City of Hazleton on South Wyoming Street, as well as all posted permitted spaces, including the at-grade lot next to the Can-Do building and the curbline along Laurel and Chestnut Streets, for parking garage and at-grade parking (reserved and non-reserved spaces) shall be such rates as provided in the fee schedule adopted by resolution of the City Council.[1]

B. 
Any employee of the City of Hazleton that is authorized to enforce parking is hereby authorized to issue parking tickets at the Parking Garage of the City of Hazleton at South Wyoming Street for parking at any place where official signs prohibit parking therein, with a violation of same subject to the penalties provide in Chapter 1, Article II, Violations and Penalties. The vehicle involved will also be subject to removal by towing and may be subject to processing and storage fees at the owner's expense.
